ILLOGICAL SOUNDS - Album II
Illogical Sounds is our second post-punk album, released on 22 February 2026, with premiere on post-punker.com . It is not a record designed for immediacy or comfort. This album asks for patience, late hours, and attentive listening - it is meant to be entered slowly, felt instinctively, and understood only in fragments.
Across its sixteen core tracks and extended alternate mixes, Illogical Sounds unfolds as a fractured emotional landscape where coherence is not linear but emerges through repetition, atmosphere, and tension. Songs like “Illogical Sounds (Call Me from Beyond)”, “Obsessive Pain”, and “Cold Blood” establish the album’s cold, ritualistic core - restless basslines, atonal guitar movements, and rhythms that feel human yet unsettled. These are not songs that resolve; they circle, hesitate, and persist.
Themes of distance, obsession, memory, and erosion recur throughout the record. “A Game You Played”, “Delicate Touch”, and “Tear Us Apart” explore intimacy breaking down through silence and misalignment rather than drama. “A Ghost Returns”, in both its original and foggy mix, revisits absence as something that lingers rather than fades, while “Passing By” and “Diffuse Shadow” capture transience and emotional dislocation with understated restraint.
More abstract pieces like “Teraformatus”, “Abysmal Sound”, and “Giddy-Go-Round Carousel” push the album further into experimental territory, where structure dissolves and sound itself becomes narrative. “Viral Hate” confronts the modern condition directly — not with anger, but with a cold observation of how repetition and amplification strip meaning from expression. “The Famous Troubadour” stands as a distorted reflection on identity and performance, while “A Night Before” and its groovy mix close emotional loops without ever offering closure.
Throughout Illogical Sounds, fragmentation is intentional. Melody breaks, rhythm hesitates, and silence is treated as an instrument. Nothing here is accidental, every pause, rupture, and unresolved moment is placed with purpose. The extended and alternate versions at the end of the record do not serve as remixes in the traditional sense, but as parallel states, allowing certain emotions to linger longer or dissolve differently.
This is an album for listeners who find meaning in unease, beauty in imbalance, and depth in repetition. Illogical Sounds does not guide you by the hand - it leaves space for you to get lost, return, and listen again.
