Oh, amurguri

As daylight fades, the world seems to hold its breath.

Inspired by George Bacovia's haunting symbolist poem, Oh, amurguri transforms the violet twilight of late autumn into a slow, immersive journey through solitude, memory and quiet decay. Melancholic violin, breathing harmonium, hypnotic bass lines and restrained vocals gradually unfold like the final light disappearing behind a deserted landscape, where every sound feels both distant and deeply familiar.

Rather than describing autumn as a passing season, the song presents it as an emotional state—one where abandoned parks, frozen winds, funeral echoes and the cry of unseen birds become symbols of longing, absence and the slow passage of time. The music mirrors the poem's fragmented imagery, allowing silence, atmosphere and recurring melodies to carry as much meaning as the words themselves.

As part of Boema Bacoviană, Oh, amurguri continues the album's reinterpretation of George Bacovia's poetry through the language of darkwave, post-punk and Romanian symbolism.
